Need help explaining federated identity management to your campus colleagues? InCommon has developed a slide deck that provides an introduction and overview to the topic that is appropriate for use with staff members in student services or the library, right up to the CIO.
The slides provide a primer on identity management, defines commonly used terms, offers graphics to explain how federated identity management works, and provides information about the resources available through InCommon. Each slide includes notes to help with the talking points.
Members of the community are free to download the slide deck, pick and choose the slides they wish to use, do some customization, and submit updates or new slides back to the wiki for use by others.
