- Issues Paper
Karen has assembled a list of key issues and overview. (Please see Ann's call announcement from 5/16 for the referenced draft.) The group discussed the next step of developing a shorter sample issues document to get folks interested in what's going on. This should include the what, why, who, example story, and sample questions. [AI] Karen to send out a next draft on Friday 5/23 for all to review. [AI] All to send comments to her on the draft. AACRAO has offered to format and distribute the issues paper. [AI] Nancy and Ann will ask about copy deadlines for this paper.
- AACRAO IdM Survey
AACRAO Information Systems and Technology Committee is developing an IdM Survey to get a baseline of IdM knowledge and activities across their membership. The group hopes to have a broad summary for the IdM Workshop and will use the content for both the whitepaper and an AACRAO College and University Journal article. The survey will be released to the community very soon.
- IdM Workshop
AACRAO sent out the invitations to the Registrars and Admission Officers yesterday. Nancy gave an update on the agenda and registration availability. Learn more at http://www.aacrao.org/identity/hotel.cfm. We discussed some of the logistics such as taking notes during the discussion sessions. Renee suggested that we use a wiki and have the scribes at the discussion tables enter their notes into it for consideration later. [AI] Nancy and Ann will ask AACRAO about whether we will have wireless networking available to do this.
