Welcome to the NET+ Panopto Program!

The Internet2 NET+ Panopto Program is open to all Internet2 higher education members or not-for-profit higher education institutions. This wiki page will overview how to make the most of your program participation by providing details on Service documentation, upcoming events, latest Customer Advisory Board news, and community resources around the web. 

If you are looking for details on how to join the program, add licenses as an existing participant, or adopt the latest version of the NET+ Panopto Customer Agreement, please contact netplus@internet2.edu.

Program Benefits:

Panopto enables your university’s students and faculty to easily record and share their videos from a single platform. The Internet2 NET+ program works hand-in-hand with Panopto to review roadmaps, resolve community issues, and advocate for a seamless teaching and learning experience for faculty and students. Program Subscribers are eligible for these special NET+ Panopto benefits:

  • Discounted rates on subscription fees & professional services
  • Customized support packages at discounted rates
  • Access to subscriber mailing lists, regular program webinars, and other community resources

Program Characteristics:

  • Open to all Internet2 higher ed members or not-for-profit higher ed institutions
  • Minimum commitment for an Enterprise Customer is 3 years
  • Enterprise Customer Agreement (ECA) automatically renews

Panopto Events

Panopto User Group meetings are meant to be a way for the Higher Ed community to come together and share best practices, trends in the market, shared concerns/issues, and discuss ways to enhance the overall student learning experience through technology. The next quarterly NET+ Panopto Customer Advisory Board meeting will take place in May 2024. The February 2024 CAB meeting covered the following topics: Progress on strategy and roadmap, analytics, and input from the community. If you'd like to cover a specific topic in a future CAB meeting, please reach out to netplus@internet2.edu.

Panopto Subscribers are encouraged to sign up for Panopto's Community Forum space, which includes a range of support articles, feature requests, video tutorials, and community discussions.

NET+ Panopto Customer Advisory Board (CAB)

The NET+ Panopto program is managed by an Internet2 program manager with the support of the NET+ Panopto Customer Advisory Board. The CAB meets quarterly in collaboration with Panopto to discuss strategic product improvements, program roadmaps, community experience, and more. More information about CAB activities coming soon.
