2017 Technology Exchange CINC UP: Cybersecurity Research Acceleration Workshop and Showcase – Wednesday, October 18, 2017 – 12:30pm – 5:30pm PDT

https://meetings.internet2.edu/2017-technology-exchange/detail/10004858/

Whether you pre-register or drop in, please join us for this cybersecurity research acceleration workshop and showcase, co-sponsored by CENIC and Internet2, to participate in an interactive discussion on how working together between researchers and “practitioners” we can accelerate Transition To Practice (TTP) of cybersecurity research into operational environments. NSF and DHS-funded researchers will present their research relevant to network security, the Internet of Things, cybersecurity literacy, connected healthcare, security and privacy. Practitioners who attend this workshop will be able to provide valuable feedback to the researchers to accelerate transition to practice, and pursue potential pilot opportunities. “Practitioners” include IT, networking, security, research and industry professionals. Workshop participants will discuss cybersecurity needs today and into the future. This meeting is supported by the NSF Cybersecurity Transition To Practice Acceleration EAGER Grant #1650445.
