Internet2, under the auspices of the Health Network Initiative http://www.internet2.edu/health/ is providing an environment for awardees, and those supporting them, to come together to discuss shared issues, learn from each other and subject experts. Two workshops have been held, with a third planned for April 30. Archive of pervious workshop materials are available on this site (from the Home page click Events).
A complementary set of activities, a series of informational webinars for this developing community, is being offered by an Internet2 member industry group christened Vendor Alliance Committee (VAC). For the next session the VAC is inviting carrier members to join a vendor agnostic panel focused on Network topics and concepts that awardees need to consider.
The VAC is asking carriers who are Internet2 corporate members to participate. As has been our practice, webinar will be moderated by topic knowledgeable Internet2 technical staff member. To finalize planning will ask panelists to participate in a planning call to set specific topics and determine who will cover.
Target date for the webinar is mid March.
