2. CTU Meeting in Curacao - Heidi
Forum to be held 23-24 July (http://www.ctu.int/ctu/Default.aspx?tabid=194)
Heidi is attending to talk about Internet2 and to facilitate conversation between AMPATH-Internet2-CKLN
Heidi and Curtis believe Ken Sylvester will be in attendance
Action All: please submit slides to include in Heidi's presentation by this Friday, 18 July
Heidi will send her outline today, and post her draft presentation on the wiki for comments at the end of the week
Heather/Jocelyn (Internet2 basics), Russ/Jose (astronomy), Kelly (marine science) all to send slides

3. UWI connection plans - Shiraz
Shiraz and Ernie have been working on network topology
Action: send configuration to Heather so Internet2 can assist with peering
AMPATH and UWI are aiming for the 3rd week of August to be connected
currently working together to procure equipment
UWI and Internet2 have signed MoU
4. UVI connection status - Heidi, Kelly, Engineers (James, Ernie, Dr. Williams)
Dr John Williams is a consultant with UVI
FIU to sponsor UVI connection to the Internet2 Network
Ernie will send Heather Martinson at Internet2 a note when AMPATH is ready for Internet2 to recognize paths
circuit up as of 11 July; 5 day testing window
Action: Ernie will send Kelly email regarding status this afternoon
anticipate circuit being active no later than tomorrow
5. Japan / APAN Caribbean Interests - Kitamura Yasuichi
