  2. Updates from Technology Exchange in Indianapolis
    1. Comments, feedback and things learned from:
      1. Shaun Abshere – the 3 or 4 tracks worked well. Used his time to catch up on the InCommon threads. Overall it was the lightest. (easy on the emotions, not a lot of self congratulations, a lot of discussing next steps and sharing, Breakfast on Thursday morning was positive. The international perspective was interesting. Need to keep eyes on the infrastructure on what it takes to provide the services and which services are important in the eyes of k-12 and Community colleges.

  3. Update  - No Quilt Pilots Workshop in Feb. 2015
    1. There will be a report-out during the Quilt Winter Member Meeting
  4. Topics of Interest for future calls - Which of these (or what else) would you find helpful?
    1. More on privacy issues
    2. Federation kick-start topics
    3. Technical Drilldown
      1. Registration Authority issues / best practices for collecting metadata, quality control, conventions
    4. Plans for scaling
    5. Directory issues
    6. Updates on CommIT and NET+ services
    7. Basic Federation
    8. Suggestion to create a doodle poll with top three Topics of interest and then do a Round Robin
    9. IlliniCloud and Nebraska are collaborating and will be willing to present.
      1. They will post some take-away from the effort to the Wiki
    10. Meta-Data issues
      1. It may be worth while to pose some questions to Tom and Keith
    11. How do we communicate to members and customers, how you build on trust. Marketing statements are always complicated. It would be beneficial to discuss Value proposition and outreach.
    12. ICN has just become a Quilt Member and IlliniCloud has a close relationship with them. Thy have been working on various projects together.
