User Types and Profiles for Internet2 Wiki
Anonymous User
- person who does not sign in
- granted read only permission by certain spaces
- has no write permission
Registered User (member of Confluence-Users)
- person who has registered with site by self or has been added by space or wiki administration
- person has varying permissions
- Can read spaces given permission to
- Can write in spaces given permission to
Registered User / Assigned Group
- person who has registered with wiki site or has been added by administrator
- person has varying permissions
- person is a member of a group and has permissions assigned to that group
Shared User Name / Assigned Group
- user name that is a generic login to be shared with group of users
- user name that has been assigned permissions within on specific group
- user name that can be excluded from confluence-user status to limited their activity to the single group space
