DISCUSSION

Update on Pilot Planninghttp://www.thequilt.net/index.php/events/246-2013-quilt-incommon

At the Feb. 2013 Quilt-InCommon Federation Workshop in La Jolla, there was interest in planning pilots to further K12 federation. Working groups have spun up to plan the pilots, which will be based on regionals partnering with K12 school districts or community colleges. The current plan is to consult with interested regionals, to learn what they are doing, and how that can fit in with the federation business processes we would like to validate. The hope is to get some pilots up and running before start of the 2013-2014 school year.

Mark: It would be helpful to get the LMSes involved in federation.
SteveO: There is an InCommon group looking at LTI and SAML
