Middle East Regional Interest Group Meeting Doha, Qatar 10 September 2013

Registration: Please complete this registration form if you plan to participate in the meeting. There is no charge to attend, however an accurate count assures food and seating for all.

Participants are invited to also attend the EUMEDCONNECT/ASREN meeting which will be held 11 September 2013 at the same location.

Location: Georgetown University Building, Education City, Qatar Foundation, Doha, Qatar

Host: Georgetown University SFS-Qatar

Time: 8:30am-5:00pm

Accommodation: We have arranged a special rate for attendees of QAR 600 single per night at the Marriott Courtyard Doha. Attendees should reserve directly with the hotel using the following link: Internet2/Georgetown University group rate. The rate is available for bookings made up to 4th September 2013 after which standard corporate rates will apply. Please book early.

As always, accommodation costs are the responsibility of the attendee.

Transportation: A shuttle bus will be available to transport attendees between the hotel and Georgetown University.

Visa: All out-of-country attendees will require a visitor visa.

The State of Qatar issues Tourist Visas on arrival for nationals of 33 countries:
Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Malaysia, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Singapore, South Korea, Switzerland, The Netherlands, USA, UK, Vatican City.

All other nationalities must apply for and obtain a Tourist Visa before arriving in Qatar. Attendees requiring a pre-arranged visa may apply online or contact the Chair, Internet2 Middle East SIG for assistance.
