The Strategy and Organization Team is hosting a call for > ALL < OSIdM4HE members TODAY from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm EST. We will take stock of where we are and start making progress toward a draft Development Investment Plan targeted to potential investors and other interested parties.

    • RL Draft under Dec. 2011 draft. Wait until after F2F? No, proceed.
    • Registries, provisioning updates; What are the highest priority source systems of record to plug to the registry. Access Management: Testing requirements against Kuali and Grouper, stack up well, Vertical app to manage workflow for granting access to admin systems. Out of Grouper: LDAPPCNG. 
  • Review, make plan to revise the suite of public-facing top-level OSIdM4HE initiative materials
    • S&O deliverables; Marketing and Outreach documents (link above)
    • Scope and Principles [KeithH] Augment "Principles" section; ChrisM: Focus on Benefits of our solution; long-term benefits and costs. Don't fight on a detailed level. Borrow liberally from Kuali & others. We need 1) A Tech roadmap, 2) A Product roadmap, 3) Marketing materials.  kjk: Scope: VOs? Shared infrastructure? Outsourced service providers? prov/de-prov: is it SCIM? does scope embrace them? RL: Part of sizzle is prep for the cloud.
    • Technical Reference Architecture: We need a biz architecture to complement this; The F2F should lead to relevant conversations. BillY: How does this serve to help us discuss product strategy during our F2F; Reporting: key to these projects is providing a full open reference implementation. Harvest products from pilot institutions. TomB: Online demo server. Downloadable quick-start. ChrisM: Most ppl are not looking to have this done as SaaS. RL: Some are.
  • Face to Face Planning
    • Note-taker?
    • Remote participation: stream the proceedings from SkySong Incubator for ASU; chat for remote participation. KJK will check in with ASU CIO G Wishon.
    • Prior to F2F, slot the Dev. Work Estimates between Product Strategy parts 1 & 2
    • Governance will address project management, inter-project coordination, external project oversight governance; kjk: external will be in flux
