For common users of our systems we developed simpler UI which provides the most important functions:
- list of user's groups, optins and groups with admin privillege
- simple managing of stems, groups and their members (autocomplete)
- ...
This UI doesn't provide all features which are available in standard UI. Standard UI is still available to limited number of administrators (IT staff on faculties and some departments) and is used for advanced uses (etc. custom properties).
Used technologies
Our intranet is based on Websphere Portal Server so new UI is based JSR-168 portlets. We are using Grouper API.
