The Internet2 Security Working Group has been working with the Internet2 Security team to develop a set of guides around routing security. These efforts primarily focus on BGP routing and center around the recommendations and discussions found in RFC 7454 "BGP Operations & Security", published in February of 2015.
The goal was not develop a set of Best Practices, but rather to engage on a discussion around the various topics so that operators could make an informed decision about implementing, or not, the various topics from the RFC.
